TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Cherry red colour with a purple reflection.
- Nose: Aromas of ripe red and black fruit accompanied by notes that evolve from roasted, walnut, vanilla and toffee to smoky touches and an elegant background of red rose.
- Palate: Fine and soft tannins. The first instance of fruit and liqueur cherries followed by top quality woods, a picture in which we appreciate notes of nutmeg, graphite and dark chocolate. Mineral aftertaste and long, persistent finish.
ELABORATION
Varieties: 95% Tempranillo, 5% Merlot.
Fermentation with native yeasts.
The winery has one of the most ambitious barrel parks in the Ribera del Duero and the woods are personally selected in search of the best "terroir" to obtain the greatest expression of each soil and variety.
Aged for 12 months in new 225-litre French oak barrels.
