CATA'S NOTES:
- View : Golden pale and shiny.
- Nose: Cool and mineral , stand out notes from stone fruit accompanied by slight touches of spices ( vanilla ) and some of dairy . Wood also present, very well integrated.
- Mouth: fresh entry marked by the fruit, step unctuous with lactic sensations of yogurt, sensations Salinas and minerals , slightly tannic and with excellent acidity.
100% ALBILLO MAYOR, is the autochthonous white variety of
the Ribera del Duero.
The care of the vineyard is ecological in the process of certification.
The harvest is carried out in boxes of 15 kg manually.
Double selection in the vineyard and at the selection table.
Harvest date: September 21. We bring forward the harvest date to preserve the acidity, something significant of the
cellar wines.
Preparation by gravity.
After the selection in the winery, pressing is carried out with little extraction of must, 50%.
Fermentation takes place in a 500l barrel with lees, with batonnage for the first 6 months.
Aging in French oak barrels of 500l, 21 months.
Natural clarified, without filtration

Bodegas De Blas Serrano is located in Fuentelcésped, a Burgos municipality that was founded at the end of the s. XII by the Premonstratensian Orders of the Monastery of La Vid. Since then it has a long history linked to wine. Wines are only made when the grapes present the characteristics that meet the quality criteria that they have defined.
