This winery located in the highlands of the Ribera del Duero has one of the most ambitious barrel parks in the DO. The woods are personally selected to find the best "terroir" of the Quercus forest and thus obtain the best expression of each soil and variety.
In 1960 a large part of the forest mass known as "El Bosque" was mostly dedicated to cereals. To make room for the cereal, the former owners removed large quantities of firewood from this ill-fated forest. The residents of the region brought their mules and donkeys to help with the large collection of firewood.
Overexertion killed hundreds of donkeys, giving the forest its name, "El Bosque de Matasnos".

In the same way the corks are selected one by one, each cork is 100% natural from the best professionals.
