Tasting Notes:
- Colour: Intense and brilliant cherry.
- Nose: Aroma of black fruits, clove, black pepper and black chocolate.
- Palate: Clean and bright, very tasty with a long aftertaste.
Elaboration and Aging:
Calcareous and fresh soils from San Vicente de la Sonsierra, north of the Ebro in the vicinity of alluvial deposits, located at the northern end of the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin. Old vineyards between 25 and 80 years old, in glass, with limited production and small size grapes. Its characteristics of finesse and elegance are understood when visiting the conditions of this peculiar and excellent pre-sierra soil for an austere vineyard in an almost mountainous climate.
