Martinez Lacuesta Tempranillo Blanco is a fresh white wine, with fruity aromatic notes and a structured and persistent palate. It is a wine with deep local roots made from the white Tempranillo variety.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Greenish yellow colour.
Nose: Intense floral and fruity aromas, with tropical notes of banana, apple and citrus fruits.
Palate: In the mouth it is balanced, with great structure and a medium-long persistence.
APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Rioja.
WINEMAKING: Made from 100% white Tempranillo grapes.
CURIOSITIES: This winery moved to Calle La Ventilla 71 in 1902, where wines were produced for 107 years. A century-old winery that would be swallowed up by the growth of the city of Haro, which is why it was decided to build a winery outside the city walls. A modern building that, nevertheless, oozes history from every pore.
Moreover, this variety of Tempranillo is part of a genetic mutation found in 1988 in a vine shoot of a vineyard in Murillo de Rio Leza. As a result of this discovery in La Rioja, surprising white Tempranillos are produced.
