Tasting Notes
Attractive ruby color tile middle layer and light shades. Intensely aromatic nose with ostados integrated with ripe fruit and balsamic notes. After some time in the glass, aromas evolve traces of tea, spices and snuff. The attack on the palate is round and harmonious, showing silky tannins but also keeping fresh and lively. The aftertaste is very persistent, recovering memories of toast and raisins.
Development and Aging
Made mostly from Tempranillo grapes from farms in ashtray where the orientation, the Atlantic climate and limited productivity grapes offer us ideal for this style of wine.
Following the classical concepts of Rioja, the wine was aged for 24 months in American oak barrels and French (50-50%) and then remained in the bottle for 3 years.
