TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Color between red and orange with pink reflections.
Nose: Aromas of white flowers, herbs and spices.
Palate: Fresh and vibrant, accompanied by excellent acidity.

ELABORATION

Varieties: Tempranillo, Albillo, Garnacha, Bobal and Tempranillo Gris.
Vinified without destemming.
Alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts.
No clarifying or filtering.
Aged for 20 months in oak buckets.

CURIOSITIES

Dominio del Aguila is a winery owned by Jorge Monzón, who together with his wife Isabel Rodero make different wines. After his time in France (the Romanee Conti) he returned to the Ribera del Duero where he coincided with a new perspective of Nacho Arzuaga for the wines of the winery and meanwhile he was buying plots with old vineyards in glass (it is important that the vines remain in glass) that cared for and sold the grapes to the best of the place. A small winery that makes some of the great wines of the area.
