TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Old gold colour.
- Nose: Powerful and intense, with aromas of white flowers, stone fruit and fruit salad, accompanied by notes of vanilla and pastry. With aeration, balsamic notes emerge that give way to a subtle minerality.
- Palate: Dense and full, with an excellent acidity that lengthens it, increasing the velvety sensation and the fruit salad jam.
ELABORATION
Variety: Viura.
Manual harvesting in 15Kg boxes.
Destemming and maceration in stainless steel for 7-9 days without sulphur and with natural carbonic acid.
Fermentation in American oak barrels with their own yeasts.
Aged on lees for 24 months plus as many months in the bottle.
CURIOSITIES
Bodegas Gregorio Martínez manually selects its best fruits from a total of 20 micro-plots, planted between 1904 and 1945, with different orientations, at an altitude of 550 metres.
