La Mimbrera is located in the area of El Hoyo, in a very Mediterranean environment, which gives a unique character to the wine.
Made from an excellent blend of Tempranillo (75%), Grenache (20%) and Viura (5%) and aged for 18 months in French oak.

CURIOSITIES

La Mimbrera is produced by Bodegas Exopto, whose motivation is to produce different wines within the historical Riojan context: wines with more color and freshness, better expression of the fruit and finer adaptation of the oak.

All the wines made at Bodegas Exopto are blends of the three main grape varieties of La Rioja. Depending on the type of wine, Grenache will be used for its fruit, Graciano for its freshness or Tempranillo for its structure.

Bodegas Exopto, located in Laguardia, is the perfect testimony of a complex balance between modernity and tradition: the different plots of vineyards are between 30 and 90 years old and the cellar's tanks are made of oak or concrete, very traditional and noble materials that allow the wine to express itself and develop a great complexity of aromas and flavors.
