Aged for 4 months in American oak barrels (70%) and French oak barrels (30%) using new and semi-new barrels.

CURIOSITIES

At an altitude between 700 and 1,000 meters, is the vineyard of the winery. A vineyard over 20 years old and with the majority of Tinta del País grapes. Variety that is characterized by its balance in tannins and lack of oxidase, which gives it a stable color.

The vineyard is oenologically differentiated into 21 plots, depending on the type of soil, the variety and the orientation of each of them. It is made up of sands poor in iron, with low fertility, which results in low but high-quality productions.

The gently undulating terrain allows optimal drainage and facilitates the vegetative development of the vines. The climate is continental and extreme, with average annual rainfall of between 450 and 500 mm, which influences the average acidity of the wines and their high sugar content.
