- Colour middle layer with a cherry color background.
- Nose : Very expressive, with the sensation of red fruits and aromatic herbs of the landscape of La Horra. The perfectly integrated wood.
- Mouth , medium volume with a lot of red fruit and some black notes. It is kind in the mouth and with good tannin. There is some sweetness and fresh end.
Preparation and Aging:
Elaborated through
organic viticulture with grapes
100% Country Ink (Tempranillo) , coming from 20-year-old vines located on small plots in La Horra, Roa and neighboring towns (Burgos).
It is made by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation in French oak vats and with a aging of
14 months in barrel , 80% French oak and 20% American oak.
Curiosities: CORIMBO was selected in 2016, and it remains, the only Spanish wine in the wine list with glasses of the exclusive hotel The Peninsula Shanghai, owner of the best wine list in Asia.
