Tasting Notes:
- Color Red cherry high layer with violaceous edging.
- Nose: Characteristic aromas of the Ribera del Duero, black fruit not too ripe, licorice and good toasted, round tannins and with well integrated wood.
- Mouth: It is elegant, refined and juicy, with round tannins and an enormous aroma. Despite its good volume is not a liqueur red, thanks to the contained extraction and the elegance of the other works in the cellar.
Elaboration and Aging
Elaborated with Tempranillo grapes ranging from 30 to 100 years in the vineyard La Aguilera, Moradillo and Banos, with predominantly clayey-calcareous and arene-clayey soils, very low yields. Fermented for 14 days and macerated with autochthonous yeasts, pumped daily and temperatures up to 28ºC. 16 months aging in French oak barrels.
Curiosities:
The winery is named Garmon Continental, derived from the surnames of the children of the iconico Mariano Garcia, Alberto and Eduardo Garcia Montana, and will be the smallest of the Garcia empire.
