The Viña Salceda wineries are located in Elciego, and has become a clear reference of the Rioja Alavesa, prestigious wine area internationally recognized as a producer of wines of great quality and tradition.
Interestingly, Viña Salceda was founded in 1969, celebrating only 40 years of life, but has achieved that throughout these years the quality of its wines and its wine prestige are recognized by developing a complete range of reds. The winery is located in the epicenter of the Rioja qualified designation of origin, having an ideal climate for the production of its wines.
The soil is clayey-calcareous ideal for the cultivation of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo. The wines of Viña Salceda are aged in French or American oak barrels.
