"Cherry red, violet, high and bright. Abundant tear stained. Clean and intense nose. Aroma of ripe, balsamic, roasted, spicy fruit with a mineral background. Wood well integrated throughout the wine, great balance. Flavor is tasty, powerful, fruity, with fine tannins that give the wine a great opulence and concentration. Live sensations of fruit, menthol, cocoa, toasted, roasted and minerals.
Development and Aging
Made from grapes 100% Tinta del país (tempranillo) of vineyards situadops Pedrosa de Duero (Burgos) 15 years old. The harvest is done manually remaining in barrels of French and American oak for 12 months and another 12 months in bottle.
It is a wine that will be kept in optimal Conditions by over 6-8 years and is the perfect accompaniment to stews with meat and rice with birds.
Pérez Pascuas family are the founders of the DO Ribera del Duero in the 80s, its wines faithfully represent the essence of the Douro wines.
