TASTING NOTES

  • Appearance: Straw yellow colour.
  • Nose: Aromas of white fruits and nuts.
  • Palate: Broad and creamy, with a long and persistent finish.

 
ELABORATION

Varieties: Obaideh and Merwah.
Fermented in French oak barrels for 9 months.
Bottled at the end of the year and released to the market 7 years after harvest.

The Hochard family has been making wine in the Bekaa Valley since 1930. Serge Hochard, son of Gaston Hochard, has led this winery to be one of the most prestigious and recognized since 1959. A symbol of Mediterranean wines, an iconic winery that has survived civil wars and looks to the future thanks to the third generation: Gaston and Ronald Hochard.
