• Appearance: Intense ruby colour with garnet reflections.
• Nose: Aromas of black fruit.
• Palate: Firm, vigorous, with powerful fruity flavors and a long finish.

 
ELABORATION

Produced in the areas of Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo in the Valle del Douro.
Made from red wines produced in these areas.
The wines mature for three years in oak vats, where they develop without losing their freshness, aromatic intensity and deep ruby color.

CURIOSITIES

Select Reserve is produced by Taylor's, one of the oldest houses in Porto, dedicated entirely to the production of quality Port wines.
It is considered the reference of Vintage Port.

Known for their elegance and poise as well as for their sober power and longevity, Taylor's Vintage Ports are made from the winery's best plots, Vargellas, Terra Feita and Junco.

Taylor's is also respected as a producer of wood-aged ports and has one of the largest reserves of vat-aged wines, from which its distinguished Tawny Port wines come.

The house is also well known for being the producers of Late Bottled Vintage, a style of which the winery is a pioneer and of which they continue to be leading producers.
