TASTING NOTES

• Appearance: Bright yellow colour with greenish reflections.
• Nose: Open and complex, a captivating symphony of floral, fruity and slightly spicy aromas.
• Palate: Soft entry that gives way to an explosion of flavor, forceful and dense, while long and silky.

 
ELABORATION

Elaborated from a meticulous selection of the best white grapes from the best vineyards of the winery.
Small parts of different vineyards are allowed to mature for longer to obtain a higher concentration in the pulp of the grapes.
Vinifications in very limited quantities of musts in each of the varieties.
After alcoholic fermentation, meticulous racking is carried out, allowing the wines to be cleaned by decantation in a natural way.
When the wines are at the optimum moment of expressiveness, the best are selected to make the final coupage.
Then the aging process is carried out in the bottle.

How was the agricultural year in 2018?

"The 2018 agricultural year can be defined as very rainy, with abundant rainfall in spring and summer (40% more than the usual average). As for temperatures, it can be considered as a hot year, especially during the month of August. The harvest began on August 27 with the Merlot variety and ended on October 24 in our northernmost vineyards, after 57 long days of harvest, two weeks longer than usual in our winery. Although it was a complicated year due to abundant rainfall, the ripening of the grapes was staggered, so there was no overlap between the different varieties. In general, the wines produced are very expressive, with aromatic intensity, ease in the mouth and roundness from their youth, which augurs them a good development over time."
