• Straw yellow color with greenish and steely reflections.

• On the nose this 100% Verdejo wine is clean on the nose and with an aromatic power that invites you to spend a few good minutes with your nose in the glass. Notes of ripe fruit almost stewed together with delicate herbaceous tones and touches of aniseed.

• On the palate it is cheerful and expressive but with a glyceric and structured touch where a pleasant minerality is balanced with balsamic and subtle pastry notes.

Elaboration:

A wine made with Verdejo 100% in the zone of Wheel . After the harvest, it ferments in stainless steel tanks at relatively low temperatures, to preserve all the aroma.

Bodegas Ramón Bilbao was founded in 1924. Already in the 19th century, the Bilbao Murga family, headed by his father D. Ramón, marketed Ramón Bilbao and Viña Turzaballa wines.

Bodegas Ramón Bilbao it is a winery that preserves its future. The set of buildings of the Ramón Bilbao wineries has been located since 1972 on a plot of more than 7,000 square meters surrounded by vineyards and on the outskirts of Haro, on the road to Casalarreina.

The barrel rooms are grouped into three open-plan buildings, one of them with an underground level, adequately air-conditioned and with a controlled degree of humidity. The bottle rack is in an underground cellar.

The central building houses the bottling line, warehouse and offices. Likewise, the winery also has a visitor center, wine cellar and a professional tasting room. All this contributes to the Bodegas Ramón Bilbao be one of the five most visited wineries in Rioja.
