Tasting Notes:
- Sight: Intense straw yellow.
- Nose: High aromatic intensity, with notes of very ripe fruit pear, apple and white peach, memories of aging on very clean lees (yeast, bakery and vanilla).
- In mouth: Wide entry in mouth, greasy and with volume, with good step, long and fruity aftertaste, lactic notes and bakery.
Elaboration and AgeingMartín Códax Lías combines modernity and tradition. The grapes for this Albariño come from our experimental vineyard, Pé Redondo, and the oenology team carries out an exhaustive selection of the best fine lees among all the tanks of the winery.
The wine and the selected fine lees are subjected to Batonage for two months, providing unctuosity and volume in the mouth. The wine is then aged for ten months in stainless steel tanks with the lees at rest to achieve the desired balance.
