TASTING NOTE

ELABORATION
Made with grapes
100% Tempranillo , the grapes come from vineyards planted more than 45 years ago (the oldest in the winery), cultivated in glass and in real framework. The soil is clayey with a high limestone content. The harvest is done by hand and in 200kg boxes. The grapes are vatted by gravity in the tanks, where they ferment at a controlled temperature (ranging between 18 and 24ºC), undergoing continuous and short pump-overs. Immediate aging is done in French and American oak barrels for 16 months. , remaining in the bottle for at least another 24 months.
CURIOSITIES Bodegas Martínez Paiva is a family business with a tradition of more than five generations in the cultivation of the vine and the production of quality wines in Extremadura. They were pioneers in the introduction of cultivation and varietal techniques in the Tierra de Barros area, in the vicinity of Almendralejo (Badajoz), the true wine capital of Extremadura.
