excelente vino tinto, embriagador, bonito color rojo intenso, en la copa llora como un niño, mucha fruta roja y negra, muy intenso, largo en boca, casi perfecto, el único defecto para mi paladar quizás note un pelín la madera.. calidad precio inmejorable. bravo

TASTING NOTES

  • Appearance: Intense ruby colour.
  • Nose: Intense, fine and fruity.
  • Palate: Full-bodied, tasty, with pleasant tannins and woody touches.


ELABORATION

Varieties: Tempranillo, Cabernet, Merlot, Malbec, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Al-frocheiro, Verdejo Negro and Grenache.
Manual harvesting.
Fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel.
Classic 12-month aging in 80% French oak and 20% American oak barrels.
24 more months in bottle.

CURIOSITIES

Encina Blanca is a winery that produces genuine wines in Extremadura through controlled vinifications of small volumes. The small tanks allow them to ferment each plot separately, picking the grapes at their optimum point of ripeness, depending on terroir and variety.
