Our wines are a reflection of this land, this climate and this soil, as well as our work philosophy. Our commitment is to diversify, seeking added value. This is how Txakolis such as Itsasmendi 7, the first aged Txakoli in the D.O., or Itsasmendi Urezti, the first late harvest, made with raisined Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratie grapes that are left to dry on the vine shoots, were born.
And the search for nuances does not cease. We work on micro-vinifications, plots of land, experimenting with indigenous yeasts, etc. The greatness of our txakoli lies in its diversity.
The winery
Bodegas Itsasmendi is like the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve to which it belongs: constantly evolving, full of diversity, natural and complex. The restless and innovative spirit of the team has given rise to a new concept for Txakoli based on respect for the natural environment. This new building, which represents the soil from which it emerges, aims to be a living building that evolves naturally over the years, adapting to the space where it has been built.

A young, fresh and complex white wine. Straw yellow colour. Aromas of white fruit, orange blossom and lemon peel, wild aromatic plants of great complexity. In the mouth it is fresh and intense with aromas of fruit and citrus. Oily and salty with a floral and bitter finish.
