TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Straw yellow colour.
- Nose: Fresh with aromas of berries, notes of herbs, spices and balsamic.
- Palate: Smooth and fruity entry. Enveloping and with great balance. Fresh and prolonged finish.
ELABORATION
Varieties: 58% Pinot Noir, 20% Hondarrabi Beltza, 22% Cabernet Franc.
Fermented in a truncated conical stainless steel tank.
Aged for 10 months in 2000-litre French oak vats.
CURIOSITIES
The climate is influenced by the Cantabrian Sea, with mild winters and cool summers. It has a high rainfall rate, concentrated especially in spring, when specific care is carried out in the vineyard. Towards the end of summer and beginning of autumn, the nights become cool and the days mild, facilitating the correct ripening of the grapes.
At Bodegas Itsasmendi they practice agriculture committed to the environment, respecting the great plant diversity that exists on the perimeter and slopes of the plot.
