ELABORATION:
It is a wine made from the Monastrell, Cabernet and Syrah varieties. The grapes come from very old 70-year-old vineyards planted at an altitude of 700 meters on sandy, limestone and stony soils that are very poor in nutrients. These soils, together with a climate of great thermal contrasts, favor a very low vine production, which translates into a high-quality grape with a great concentration of flavors. the c riaza is of 18 months in French and American oak barrels .
CURIOSITIES: The farm, 120 hectares in size, is located at about 700 meters above sea level. The lands are loamy-sandy and limestone, very stony on the surface. The soils, for their part, are very poor in nutrients. The climate is continental despite the proximity of the Mediterranean, so that the temperature differences between day and night frequently exceed 25 ºC. All these factors make the grapes small and highly concentrated, and From them, balanced wines are obtained, with a great structure and a high aromatic intensity.
