Honoro Vera Organic is a fruity and juicy red wine. This wine is made from Monastrell grapes from organic vineyards in accordance with European Union regulations. The vineyards come exclusively from organic crops, planted on poor, low-yielding limestone soils. Therefore, grapes of the highest quality are obtained without the addition of phytosanitary products. This wine is suitable for vegans.
TASTING NOTES:
Appearance: Bigarreau cherry red colour and medium-high depth.
Nose: Attractive floral aromas with hints of ripe fruit.
Palate: In the mouth it is fresh, balanced, lively and tasty, with adequate acidity and noble ripe fruit tannins.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: Jumilla.
WINEMAKING: Made with 100% Monastrell grapes.
AGEING: Fermentation takes place for 15 days in stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 25ºC and malolactic fermentation takes place in vats, where it remains refrigerated until bottling.
CURIOSITIES: Honoro Vera's Monastrell Organic is made, as its name suggests, from grapes grown in organic vineyards, something relatively simple in the Murcian climate. The goblet-trained vines are planted on limestone soils, without irrigation and with very low yields (30% less than those of conventional cultivation). Rainfall does not exceed 300 mm per year, obtaining grapes of the highest quality without the need for the addition of phytosanitary products.
