TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Cherry red colour.
- Nose: Powerful and complex, notes of tobacco, coffee and leather. Prune finish with balsamic notes.
- Palate: Smooth openings with marked tannins in balance with its powerful acidity. Long aftertaste in which the black fruit stands out.
ELABORATION
Varieties: Merlot and Graciano.
Manual harvest at night.
Controlled fermentation at 22ºC.
Aged for 12 months.
CURIOSITIES
It is a totally family winery, its owner Fernando Toribio is in charge of the production of the wines together with one of his sons. They grow their own vineyards, as well as having their own grape suppliers. With the latter, they have been working as a team for many years, monitoring the vineyard throughout its cycle and the result is noticeable, and in what way, in their wines.
There have been many years of good work in the world of oenology, starting from the bottom and working hard to achieve their goals without ever losing sight of quality.
Viña Puebla, as it is known in Extremadura, has been at the forefront of wineries and wines for more than a decade, first in the region and finally in the rest of Spain.
