Tasting note
- Color: Intense cherry red with ruby tones, clean and bright.
- Aroma: very intense, fine, elegant, background of red fruits, plum, cherry flavor. mineral notes, spices, coffee, toast, vanilla, pastry, meringue.
- Palate: powerful and voluminous entrance, very balanced and concentrated, good acidity. Long final, broad, silky, very round and conjoined tannins.
Development and Aging
Made from a selection pf grenache grapes from different lands and from the last three vintages. 40-50 years old vineyards with less than one kilogram per vine production.
Once malolactic fermentation is complete, it is transferred again to new French oak barrels in contact with its own lees for 10 months. After this aging the best barrels are selected, and a coupage made with them which is then bottled.
