It is a wine that stands out for being gentle , floral and cool thanks to your correct acidity , with the wood discreetly peeking out from the background . CURIOSITIES : Maison Régnard is one of the oldest wineries in Burgundy. It was founded in 1860, but in 1984 the Domaine was taken over by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette who continued to perpetuate and improve the style and typicality of its wines.
The grapes for Régnard Macôn Rouge come from Mâconnais, in the south of Burgundy. They come from vineyards 400 meters above sea level settled on calcareous, clayey and siliceous soils. Although the winery is located in Burgundy, it does not make the usual Beaujolais semi-carbonic maceration, but rather works according to the principles of the house: it destems and squeezes the grapes to be vinified and does not excessively wooden the wine to allow the grape expresses itself naturally.
