TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Clean and bright.
Nose: Aromas of white flowers, elderberry, acacia and stone fruit, accompanied by citrus notes of tangerine, grapefruit and lime.
Palate: Creamy, persistent and balanced. Great ageing potential.

ELABORATION

Varieties: 86% Sauvignon Blanc, 14% Verdejo.
Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
D.O.P. Abadía Retuerta.

CURIOSITIES

The Finca de Abadía Retuerta occupies a large area of more than 700 hectares and its name comes from the union of two words that define and describe the territory: Rívula (riverbank/shore) and Torta (tortuous, curved).

The winery was designed by the famous French winemaker Pascal Delbeck in 1996, the Abadía Retuerta winery is a surprising combination of tradition and modernity, being recognized as one of the most advanced wineries in all of Europe. It occupies an area of 10,000 m2 and produces a limited production of wines, as quality is prioritized over quantity.
