Bodegas Fuentenarro is a small family bodega, part of the prestigious Ribera del Duero.Its origins date back more than 90 years ago, when our ancestors started planting his first vineyards in the municipality of La Horra, a small town in the province of Burgos in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. It was the beginning of a life dedicated to the care of their vineyards, in these years, the wine from this region was already the basis of the family economy. With hard work, dedication and wisdom were planting new vineyards, looking the best land and selecting the best varieties of grapes for each vine. Gradually we were transmitting the whole experience, love for the land and respect for nature, continuing to this day with this family tradition.After many years, we are realizing the dream of our grandparents, preparing the wine for which both have fought and worked, always following his teachings to the development and respect for the land.All this effort already has a name, Fuentenarro Vineyard, wine of our family vintners, who from the beginning opted for quality, with the daily care of their own vineyards and full respect for natureAfter many years of experience in caring for the land in 2002, we opened the winery facilities.The elaborate wines exclusively from our own grapes harvested in vineyards owned by the family for generations, achieving personal and identifiable wines. In this way we can ensure consistency and quality in our wines year after year.We want to emphasize that our broths always prepared from the same vineyards, our vineyards, thus providing very specific, unique features, where care and affection that we bring every day is perceived.We decided to baptize our wines with the name of Fuentenarro, as this is called a prestigious term of vineyards in the town of La Horra. It is an area where we always have been collected higher quality grapes in the area, as they have characteristics of suitable land attached to a perfect microclimate that make it a unique and highly prized land in Ribera del Duero.Fuentenarro vineyard is a tribute to our grandparents who relied on these magnificent grounds and whose work got that today we can enjoy these wonderful wines recognized internationally.
