Tasting Note:- View: Pale yellow colour with greenish reflections.
- Nose: it appears as a white with a red soul, to the notes of white fruit (apple, pear) are added those of red fruit in the background (pomegranate, redcurrant).
- Palate: light and fresh, very elegant, with good density and a very silky mouthfeel with good persistence.
Chivite Winery:The close history of Bodegas Chivite goes from the times of the Court of Elizabeth II of Spain to the toast of Elizabeth II of England in the Palace of Moncloa or the toast of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain with all the presidents of the member countries of NATO at the Madrid summit in 1997.
Since 1647 until today, the Chivite family has been transmitting its winery from father to son without interruption. Julián Chivite has been a key figure in the world of 20th century Spanish wines. In recognition of this great effort, he received a tribute from the Regulatory Council of the Navarra Denomination of Origin in 1980.
In 1992, he was awarded the Encomienda de la Orden del Mérito Agrario (Order of Agricultural Merit) by the King of Spain and presented by the then Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Pedro Solbes.
In 1997, the Government of Navarra awarded it the Cross of Carlos III the Noble posthumously for having contributed to placing Navarra's wines among the most prestigious both nationally and internationally, achieving recognition of its winery as one of the most prestigious in Spain.
