TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Straw yellow colour.
- Nose: Aromas of jasmine and white flowers accompanied by herbaceous notes.
- Palate: Fresh and balanced with a long, elegant finish.
ELABORATION
Variety: 100% Albillo Real.
Manual harvesting in 12Kg boxes.
Fermentation with native yeasts in French oak foudre with its lees.
Aged for 10 months.

Picarana is made by the Marañones winery, which belongs to the Alma de Carraovejas Group.
Marañones follows the philosophy of respect for the land and winemaking by plots.
Its wines are born in unique places between 650 and 850m, in the Sierra de Gredos, forming a mosaic of vineyards of exceptional landscape and oenological value within the D.O. Vinos de Madrid.
Marañones wines are wines full of landscape, the expression of the balance between the soil and the climate of each place with a natural ageing in large French oak tanks.
