CATA's notes:
  • Color: Dark ripe red fruit.
  • Nose: The aroma presents fresh fruits in a perfect match with the wood
  • Mouth: Structured, with fine and elegant tannins, in a set of long and pleasant persistence
Elaboration and aging:

Made with grapes Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Syrah the grapes were harvested by hand in small boxes in the vineyard the Figueira da Cima farm , that surround the cellar. After total deflasking, the grapes fermented in large French oak vats Seguin Moreau with controlled temperature, afterwards moving on new French oak barrels from the same cooperage for 24 months.
The bottleneck was preceded by an infiltration of earths of average porosity and the bottles have aged at least a year before being commercialized.

Curiosities:
  • All wines go through the strictest controls, the entire process is supervised by the winery enologist Nelson Martins .
  • The entire range of wines has been rated by the most prestigious critics as Wine Enthusiast Y Robert Parker . Starting at 88 points reaching 94 points and going up.
  • Low Sulfites: Due to the high quality of the grapes, Reynolds wines are produced almost free of sulfites. The concentration of fruit and the rigorous hygienic conditions allow the wine to last for decades.
