TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Light yellow colour with golden reflections.
Nose: Aromas of white fruits with floral and citrus notes.
Palate: Broad, expressive and vibrant. Notes of grapefruit, white fruit and spices. Long and refreshing finish.

ELABORATION

Made mostly with Malvasia and some Albillo Real.
Manual harvest.
Maceration of 6 hours at low temperature.
Fermentation in barrels and stainless steel at a controlled temperature between 15-17 ºC.
30% of the wine ages on its fine lees in French oak barrels (with 'battonnage') for 5 months.
The remaining 70% ages in stainless steel tanks removing the lees every week for 4 months.

CURIOSITIES

Termes blanco is made by the Numanthia winery, located in the town of Valdefinjas, Zamora, was founded by the Riojan brothers Eguren in 1998. The purpose of Marcos and Miguel Eguren was to obtain the best wine from Toro. In 2008, shortly after its 2004 Termanthia scored 100 Parker points, the winery became part of the French group LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy).
