Louis Roederer Collection it's a Champagne fine and elegant , which provides, thanks to the reserve wines, a vinosity, a roundness and flavors that make it vibrant , cool and generous . This Champagne is the result of the union of wines from eight vintages different. It's a sparkling made by different varieties in which it dominates Chardonnay , which exhibits a great maturity .

View : Of color yellow golden bright .

Nose : Aromas from medium-high intensity to fruit mature and sweets , completed with fine woody notes .

Mouth : In the mouth it presents complete , complex and with characteristics of maturity associated with fruit notes. With body juicy and great persistence final .

APPELLATION OF ORIGIN IN: Champagne .

ELABORATION : Elaborate either with the s varieties 42% Chardonnay , 36% Pinot not to go and 22% Meunier .

AGING : Maturation for 3 years in barrels of Oak underground and a 6-month rest after disgorging .

CURIOSITY Yes : The shocks at the dawn of the 20th century, and especially the First World War, which destroyed more than half of Louis Roederer's wineries, led Léon Olry Roederer to rebuild his vineyard. He decided to buy grapes to guarantee the continuity of the Maison during this period of crisis and, taking advantage of the occasion, he created a non-vintage blended wine, which expresses a constant flavor regardless of the year of harvest, this is the Louis Roederer Brut Premier.
