TASTING NOTES
- Nose: Aromas of ripe red and black fruits accompanied by toasted and spicy notes.
- Palate: Elegant, fleshy and persistent.
ELABORATION
Varieties: Albillo and Tinto Fino.
67 days of maceration.
pump-overs every 10 minutes with O2 during alcoholic fermentation.
Aged in 2 semi-new burgundy French oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES
Fields with pre-phylloxera vines were discovered by Bertrand Sourdais when he arrived in 1999 in the Lands of Soria.
The climate creates a special microcosm and blends with the characteristics of a clayey, porous soil, with calcareous mixtures and sands of the Douro, the essence of which Bertrand Sourdais knows deeply, thanks to the experience accumulated during his numerous harvests.
