A vintage with very good production and very good maturation, obtaining very fruity and tasty wines, the spring was very rainy which allowed the plant to develop vigorously and then the summer was mild without temperature peaks which allowed slow maturation of the grape to its optimal point.

CATA's notes:

• Intense cherry red color with a high layer.
• Pleasant and intense complex aroma. It combines in a balanced way the aromas of grapes, fruit in liquor, black berries, with those of good aging, burnt wood, tobacco and wet earth.
• In the mouth, its power combined with a silky palate surprises. She fills her mouth with memories of licorice, mantecados and charcoal.

It is the result of an exhaustive blend of their vineyards of 40% Syrah, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 7% Malbec. Each variety has been fermented separately and subsequently assembled. It has remained for 10 months in French oak barrels.

Martúe is a Toledo Winery with D.O. own . In 2009, Martue earned the coveted rating of Pago Wines under the D.O. Campo de La Guardia Payment . This certification guarantees that the wines are made with grapes from the estate, being a faithful expression of the terroir in which it is located.
