Pago de la Oliva Coupage is a red wine that reflects all the expression, fruit and nuances of the Esparragal grape together with a selection of Pago de la Oliva grapes. The special characteristics of its vineyards united in harmony give this wine a structure, strength and finesse that confer the body and character of this elegant and subtle wine.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Intense cherry red colour with violet hints.
Nose: Deep, clean aromas of red fruits and black fruits, with spicy nuances provided by the French oak wood and a very marked liquorice.
Palate: In the mouth it is ample, fresh, balanced, silky, with structure, power and sweet tannins that stand out. Long finish full of aromas and flavours.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León.
WINEMAKING: Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes.
AGEING: Aged for 10 months in new and semi-new fine grain French oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES: The wine was bottled without any clarification or stabilisation treatment, so it is possible that over time a natural sediment of colouring matter or tartrates may appear, which is an unmistakable sign of purity and integrity. It will develop positively in the bottle over the next 5 years.
