M. Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge is a red wine coupage in which the Garnacha Tinta dominates and is accompanied by the spicy touches of Syrah. It is a wine that stands out for being fruity, young, light and structured. The vineyards are located in the Drôme, Vaucluse, Gard and Ardèche departments. Its soils are alluvial terraces, clay and limestone and clayey.
TASTING NOTES:
Appearance: Garnet red colour, clean and bright.
Nose: Fruity aromas of red fruit and cherries, with spicy notes of black pepper and liquorice.
Palate: In the mouth it is juicy and maintains its fruity character, with notes of roasting. Silky and delicate tannins.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: AOC Côtes du Rhône.
WINEMAKING: Made with the Garnacha Tinta and Syrah varieties.
AGEING: Short ageing for 6 months in cement vats.
CURIOSITIES: Maison Chapoutier is an emblematic winery in the Rhône Valley, founded in 1808. It is currently run by the prestigious oenologist Michel Chapoutier. The winery produces some of the best wines in France and has achieved multiple 100 Parker points for a number of its wines. Michele Capoutier has also been a forerunner of bio-dynamic cultivation in the area.
