Curiosities:
The DOP Pago Florentino Was conceived in 2009, for its unique characteristics, within the Wines of Castilla-La Mancha. In 1997, Florentino Arzuaga lands in Toledo attracted by the world of oil, in particular by the variety of the olive Cornicabra that in the area of Montes de Toledo reaches its maximum expression. After the acquisition of 150 hectares of olive trees of this variety began the elaboration of oil. Looking for new lands to give greater character and personality to the oil, I came to where I found some terenes suitable for planting, but not of olive trees but of vina. It's about the Finca la Solana , A one-piece farm, in the center of which the winery is surrounded by vineyards whose production is destined to Pago Florentino .
