Soco Blanco is a white wine characterised by its great personality, fresh, agile and serious. This wine is made with local varieties such as Malvasia, Diego and Listán Blanco, grown under the protection of Soco. Fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and without additives to maintain its natural typicity. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature and left to settle for 5 months before bottling.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Light straw yellow colour.
Nose: Aromas of citrus fruits and mineral notes.
Mouth: In the mouth it is very mineral, with some notes of lemon. It has a good bitterness and acidity. With a persistent finish.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Lanzarote.
WINEMAKING: Made with Malvasía, Listán Blanco and Diego varieties.
AGEING: Aged for 4 months in tanks on its lees.
CURIOSITIES: Soco is the volcanic stone wall that is built by hand to protect from the wind around the traditional hole where the vines are grown. They are marvellous works of art, tremendously functional sculptures that must be kept in perfect condition all year round.
This partnership between the Puro Rofe Viñateros team and a group of winegrowers was born in a year of pandemic, 2020 made them sharpen their wits, they had to help each other and not throw away the grapes, as all great things happen in complicated moments.
