Encomiendas del Terruño is a red wine made from grapes from vineyards where respectful cultivation techniques based on ecology and biodynamics are applied, night harvesting, selection of the grapes in the field and in the winery. Gravity fermentation, cold maceration and alcoholic fermentation. Use of the "delestage" technique to increase colour extraction.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Intense cherry red colour.
Nose: The nose is complex and ripe, with aromas of coffee in the still glass, but when the wine is swirled, the fruit is delicately expressed and the natural and respectful ageing is noticeable.
Palate: In the mouth it shows its balance and fruit. It has a long finish with chocolates and cinnamon in the aftertaste.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Extremadura.
WINEMAKING: Made with Tempranillo and Graciano varieties.
AGEING: Aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES: The winery offers multiple wine tourism experiences, from visits and tastings, accommodation in the Hotel Bodega el Moral, the Hotel Monasterio Rocamador, hot air balloon flights and many others.
