Development and Aging
Made with Mencia grapes obtained from old vines, with an average of 35 years old, planted on the slopes of the river Sil. It has a step of about 10 months in French oak barrels four years, not to alter the personality of the different grapes and plots with which the wine is made.
Curiosities:
Valdeorras has built its international reputation on the basis of their godello white wines, however, the area also has been traditionally cultivated variety Mencia. In this cool climate, Mencia red wines take on a characteristic profile subtlety.
