Galir Regueiron is a white wine with personality, with mineral notes and ripe white fruit, fresh and silky, faithful to the Valdeorras style. It is made from the Godello grape variety, whose grapes come entirely from slate soils. Maceration takes place in a refrigerated fridge prior to fermentation, followed by ageing on fine lees for 4 months in stainless steel tanks.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Straw yellow colour with greenish hints, clean and bright.
Nose: On the nose it is delicate, Atlantic and mineral, with hints of flowers, scrubland and citrus fruits.
Palate: In the mouth it is persistent, fresh and with good structure.
APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Valdeorras.
WINEMAKING: Made from 100% Godello grapes.
AGEING: Aged on fine lees for 4 months in stainless steel tanks.
CURIOSITIES: For the production of its wines, it uses grapes from its almost 20 micro-plots, which rarely exceed one hectare in size. The altitude of these plots above sea level, over six hundred metres, in addition to the classic slate and granite soils of the area, in the form of terraces, give the project an autochthonous identity.
