Tasting note:
- Color : cherry red, deep, medium-high layer, vivid violet flashes in cup edging.
- Nose: It is intense and complex, presenting a great balance between minerality, black fruits such as freson, blackberry, blueberries etc. and noble woods that remind us of cooking spices, cinnamon, vanilla, roasted, notes of liqueur coffee, perfect combination of tannins and acidity.
- Mouth: When we drink it we find a wine with weight, but delicate and hot with a great presence of black fruits and licorice, cocoas, toffee and pastry flavors, memories of pipe tobacco, cinnamon and vanilla in post-taste .
Elaboration and aging:
Milvus, being a special edition, is collected from the centennial vines, some even prefiloxericas, selecting grain by grain Tempranillo grapes for this wine. After that, he will spend 10 months aging in barrels.
Coinciding with the vintage, in October. The grapes harvested in the field are transported by the vine growers who discharge them in the stainless steel hopper. Aging of red wine for a period of not less than two natural years, counted from December 1 of the year of harvest, of which one, at least, it will be in oak barrels.
