Elaboration and Ageing:
It is made with grapes from old vineyards, between 25 and 75 years old, of the estate called Camino Viejo, located on a steep clay slope, at an altitude of about 900 meters. Ageing: 18 months in new French oak barrels.
Curiosities:
Malleolus translated from Latin as majuelo, is the way to call the vineyards in Pesquera de Duero.
- Dark cherry red color, quite covered, with ruby rim and fine tear that dyes the glass.
- In nose it shows ripe black fruit, toasted and roasted of the very fine upbringing, something spicy and balsamic.
- In the mouth it is powerful, quite dry, marked tannins and correct acidity, long aftertaste with hints of black fruit and wood.
