Phylos is a smooth, balanced, tasty and very pleasant red wine. It is a single varietal Tempranillo whose vineyards are planted at an altitude of up to 940 metres, between 15 and 50 years old, and whose soils are essentially chalky and clayey.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Cherry red colour, pure and medium-high robe.
Nose: Intense spicy and black fruit aromas, complex and fresh.
Palate: In the mouth it is balanced and fresh, with a fruity character and velvety tannins and well-integrated wood. It has good persistence in the mouth.
APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Ribera del Duero.
WINEMAKING: Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes.
AGEING: Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES: Phylos is an ancient Greek term used to refer to brotherly love, friendship and affection. And it is also the name with which the Fuentelcésped De Blas Serrano winery has chosen to name one of its wines.
