TASTING NOTES

• Appearance: Intense red colour with violet rim.
• Nose: Aromas of red fruit accompanied by toasted and spicy notes.
• Palate: Elegant and fruity, with a pleasant tannic.

ELABORATION

100% Tinta del País variety.
20-30 days of elaboration at a controlled temperature (24-26º) to obtain a higher load of fruit.
Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

CURIOSITIES

At an altitude between 700 and 1,000 metres, the winery's vineyard is located. A vineyard of more than 20 years and with a majority of Tinta del País grapes. Variety that is characterized by its balance in tannins and scarcity of oxidases, which gives it a stable color.
The vineyard is oenologically divided into 21 plots, depending on the type of soil, the variety and the orientation of each of them. It is made up of iron-poor sands, with little fertility, which results in scarce productions, but of high quality.
