Color: Cherry color cherry and middle layer.
Nose: Licorice and fennel, typical aromas of the Garnacha variety: plums or aromatic plants.
Palate: Powerful and full, with touches of bitter chocolate and fruity flavors, very mineral wine that ends with an exceptional acidity.
Processing and aging:
Elaborated with Garnacha grape 100%, from the Montazo plot that has sandy loam soil of granitic origin with rocky outcrops, a crianza of 14 months in French oak barrels both new and different uses, with capacity of 225 and 500 liters and with light toasting. After aging, it remains a month more in stainless steel tanks before being bottled.
Bodegas Las Moradas de San Martin was founded in 2001 and is located in "Pagos de los Castillejos" of San Martin de Valdeiglesias (Madrid) belonging to the Denomination of Origin Wines of Madrid. The winery is located on a farm of 21 hectares of vineyard at an average height of 860 meters above sea level. The main grape variety, with which the Las Moradas de San Martin winery counts, is the Garnacha of old vinedos, planted in the year 1930 formed in glass to real frame.
