Tasting Note: - Color : picota cherry.
- Nose : explosive, with an enormous fruity expression with a background of toasted sensations.
- Mouth : shows a very balanced acidity and again a great fruit intensity, which closes with a long and tremendously sweet finish.
Production and Aging:
Made almost entirely with Monastrell over 30 years old
with a touch of Garnacha. Malolactic fermentation in 5,000-litre capacity foudres, where it is aged for 14 months.
The Cellar Casa Castillo, which is one of the most significant wineries in Jumilla, has become increasingly famous since its first harvest in 1991. The family that owns it started a project to produce quality wines in 1985. The old buildings were rebuilt and replaced by more modern warehouses.
